When baby birds are born they do not know how to fly because it takes practice, though instinctually they will try to fly and will learn how to from their parents.
While traveling in our van around the states, my husband and I were learning a new normal. We'd felt this deep longing urging us to free ourselves from the burden of both things and obligations, and soak up a time dedicated to adventure. We had to learn to slow our pace though, as I was always eager to move more swiftly than we were. But like the baby birds I got better by practice. Learning how to move with the wind little by little, and deeply appreciate the sweetness of each person and place we encountered.
