The Blue Ridges speak of the layers.
The layers of people and the layers of time beautifully mirror the rippling horizon line that is called the Appalachia's.
Its ridges are made up of individual segments, but form one grand range.
Each mountain's arch is indistinguishable from the next, as one ends so another begins, much like the layers of people who have crossed each ridge to settle the Shenandoah Valley and Westward on over time.
